| The RamanRxn Systems™ family of instruments
is ideal for analyzing, monitoring, and controlling chemical processes.
Raman spectroscopy provides the chemical specificity of a mid-IR analyzer
with the ease of sampling of a near-IR analyzer. The RamanRxn2T™
is a powerful process analytical technology (PAT) analyzer, yielding sharp
Raman peaks which are ideal for fast qualitative and robust quantitative
analyses, often without the need for multivariate techniques. KOSI staff
and experts are focused on providing solutions for our users, including
customizing sample interfaces and control software to meet the desired
application.
The RamanRxn2T analyzer incorporates the latest TE-cooled CCD
detector technology for maximum sensitivity, a high-powered Invictus™
NIR laser to minimize fluorescence, and HoloPlex™ grating technology
to provide fast, simultaneous full spectral collection of Raman data.
The HoloPlex grating allows for faster qualitative analysis, compared
to traditional scanning instruments, because all wavelengths are measured
simultaneously. This unique advantage is especially important for chemically
changing samples (e.g., polymerizations, curing, and bubbling solutions)
or species with widely separated analytical bands of interest and allows
for more accurate quantitative analysis.
The modular analyzer design and fiber optic coupling provide robust
performance and analyzer stability. Long lengths of fiber optics may be
used to link the analyzer to multiple remote sampling points. This feature
allows in situ real-time sampling within hazardous environments without
the need for plant personnel to grab samples and wait for lab results.
Sampling strategies employing site glass windows or immersion style optics
are available. This flexibility allows the sampling point to be easily
integrated within a process stream, production line, or distillation column.
Within the RamanRxn Systems family, the RamanRxn3™
analyzer can be configured for dedicated multichannel operation
within classified areas. |
