Telecommunications/DWDM Gratings

The UltraSpec™ family of Volume Phase Holographic Gratings provide superior performance for telecom applications. These gratings have high dispersion, low PDL and very high efficiency. UltraSpec™ gratings come in a variety of configurations to ensure superior performance in telecom systems.

UltraSpec™ gratings are not affected by either mechanical damage or exposure to temperature and humidity. These gratings require no special handling and if they get dirty, just wipe them clean! Each grating IS a holographic master so there is no degradation from unit to unit, unlike other gratings.

KOSI provides standard C-band and L-band UltraSpec products. We can also customize spatial frequency, dimensions, and optical performance characteristics to suit your OEM application.
