Kaiser Optical Systems, Inc. Receives 2017 Aspen Award for the Advancement of Upstream Bioprocessing
May 31, 2018 – Kaiser announces that their analytical solutions for in situ bioprocess monitoring and control has been recognized with the 2017 Aspen Award for the Advancement of Upstream Bioprocessing. Kaiser’s analyzer equipment provides in situ, real-time, simultaneous analysis of product quality, nutrients, metabolites and cell growth during cell culture and fermentation bioprocesses.
The annual Aspen Awards recognize the most innovative new products that have made the greatest contribution to the advancement of bioprocessing. Aspen Award nominees are judged on the significance of the contribution they have made to advancing either an upstream or downstream bioprocessing application. To qualify the significance of the contribution, Aspen Award voters are asked to consider one or more of the following: improved process performance, increased product quality and/or reduced operating costs.

Kaiser Optical Systems and S•PACT Announce Collaboration in the Process Analytics Market
July 31, 2017 – Kaiser Optical Systems Inc. (Kaiser) and S•PACT are pleased to announce the completion of the first year of their alliance in Process Analytics to develop Raman solutions for the process market.

Endress+Hauser Expands US Production - Group Extends Raman Analyzer Production
June 17, 2017 – Measurement engineering and process automation specialist Endress+Hauser has further expanded its production facilities in the United States. The Raman analyzer manufacturing plant in Ann Arbor, Michigan was expanded at a cost of 9 million US dollars. Construction of the new plant took one year and doubles the floor space to 8,100 square meters (87,000 square feet).
“This expansion will allow us to produce our Raman analyzers in even higher volumes and with the quality that our customers around the world demand,” emphasizes Tim Harrison, Managing Director of Kaiser Optical Systems.
