RAMANRXN4 Gas-phase Raman Analyzer

 

The RAMANRXN4™ Gas-phase Raman analyzer provides state-of-the-art Raman measurements of gases and vapors. The RAMANRXN4™ Gas-phase Raman analyzer when combined with the latest version of Kaiser’s HoloPro™ software provides analyzer control and DCS communication for process monitoring and control purposes. The Raman spectrum contains features that are ideal for fast qualitative and robust quantitative analyses, often without the need for multivariate techniques. In order to maximize analyzer sensitivity the RAMANRXN4™ Gas-phase Raman analyzer uses a 532-nm laser.

The RAMANRXN4™ Gas-phase Raman analyzer offers an alternative to typical process gas-analyzers. The chemical specificity and spectral range of the RAMANRXN4™ analyzer allows multiple gases to be independently identified without chromatographic separation. Benefits for Raman based gas-phase analysis include fiber-optic connectivity to remote sampling locations (no extensive sample systems required), no consumables, and a single RAMANRXN4™ analyzer can measure up to four sample locations. Thus Raman gas-analyzers can offer both lower site installation costs and lower cost-of-ownership than traditional process gas-analyzers.

The heart of the RAMANRXN4™ Gas-phase Raman analyzer is a unique analyzer self monitoring system, Cal-Check™, to ensure the validity of each analysis. The analyzer is capable of self-calibration, Auto-Cal™, in extreme environments and utilizes self-diagnostics and spectral correction methods when system calibration is unnecessary. The analyzer's precision is essential for robust chemometric analyses and calibration transfer between analyzers.

Installation flexibility is accomplished by coupling the RAMANRXN4™ with the AirHead™ high-performance gas-phase probe for insertion sampling. The AirHead™ probe can be coupled either directly to an appropriate process or to a fast transfer loop.

The RAMANRXN4™ Gas-phase fiber-coupled Raman analyzer serves the needs of the analytical Raman market, process analytics, petrochemical, chemical, and polymers markets as well as the PAT pharmaceutical and biotech market.
